Long Marsh Golf Club - 20 White Marsh Road, Rotonda - (941) 697-2414. This is within 2 minutes drive of the villa.

Long Marsh's gently rolling fairways meander through 300 acres of natural Florida scrub, its fairways and greens invitingly framed by native pines, oaks and palms. Each hole has its own distinctive character, set amid natural bunkers, lakes and marshes that are haven for wildlife.
This Ted McAnlis-designed, par 72 course opened in February of 1999 and is enjoyable…ranging from 7120 yards to 5257 yards.

Lemon Bay Golf Club - 9600 Eagle Preserve Drive, Englewood 941-697-3729. This is within 7 minutes drive of the villa.

This course, which was totally renovated in 1997, is highlighted by the pine trees lining its fairways. One of the unique features of this facility is that there is a Bald Eagle preserve located within the park. There are eighteen lakes on this course. You may only walk this course after 3 PM. The general public is not allowed to play here from October through April.

Rotonda Golf & Country Club 100 Rotonda Circle, Cape Haze, FL 33947 (941) 697-2414. This is within 6 minutes drive of the villa.

This club has three eighteen hole courses to choose from. The Palms Course has generous fairways with large ponds that require long carries. The signature hole is #16, a 521-yard, par 5, where the tee shot plays over water to a dogleg right fairway, then an approach to a three-tiered green is required. The Hills Course is narrow off the tee with lateral hazards coming into play on both sides of the fairways. The small and elevated greens have some undulation. The Cape Haze Links Course has ponds coming into play on seventeen holes. The fairways are wide open, and the greens are tiered, small, and elevated. Walking is permitted on the Cape Haze Course. The Ladies Future Golf Tour was held on the Palms Course in 1988 and 1989.

Oyster Creek Golf & Country Club - 6500 Oriole Blvd., Englewood 941-475-0334. This is within 10 minutes drive of the villa.

This executive course features six par 4's. Water hazards come into play on fourteen holes. The undulating and fast greens make this course difficult. Every fairway is either lined with pine and palm trees or is bordered with some other kind of hazard.
